Please note if you install the 932 magnetic range so the cat can go through a wall, the actual flap will need to go on the internal wall side.

IMPORTANT NOTES
GLASS FITTING: 917. 919. 932
Your cat flap can only be fitted into double glazing or toughened glass at the time the glass panel is manufactured. Cutting holes in other types of
glass can be hazardous and should only be carried out by a glazier.

A circular hole with a diameter of 210mm (81/4") is required when installing in glass (rather than the standard square hole described above).
FITTING FLAP: 917. 919. 932 When fitting the flap, please note that the magnetic strips should attract and not repel the flap.

TUNNEL 932 ONLY
The tunnel section of this product contains the latching mechanism. DO NOT CUT THE TUNNEL.
METAL/GLASS DOORS: 932 ONLY

The 932 cat flap will not operate if fitted directly to a surface containing metal - e.g. uPVC coated metal doors, some
plasterboards. If the door contains metal, the 932 cat flap must be isolated from the metal by using a wooden frame
with an internal dimension of 169mm x 169mm (65/8" x 65/8") and an external dimension of 306mm x 306mm
(121/4" x 121/4"). The cat flap will not operate in double glazing unless a plastic spacer bar is used.

For bigger doors you can order 940 tunnel extensions, they are not a perfect fit but they can be squeezed in to convert a Staywell 30 in to a 31.

Q... I have a simple question. I have a very old Staywell Cat-flap. It's magnetic, (magnetic key around cat collar) and it's called Staywell 30.

I need to replace it. What is the latest equivalent model? And will it be the same size to fit over the same door hole?

A... The cut-out size for the staywell 30 is 169mm x 175mm, the following catflap will fit,

the staywell 500 infra-red is suitable for both thin panel doors and doors upto 2 inches thick and its the most upto date Staywell car flap..

Q... I bought a staywell flap for cats about a year ago. It cost me approx 30 pounds. The key is magnetic and looks like a little sort of mouse. i now have a 2nd cat and need a spare key - which one should I buy?

A... The cat collar keys you need are ref 980 these keys are compatible with the staywell 32, 932 and the staywell 400.
